Live Your Dream

Today I am living my dream! I did not go to work …and it feels good. I am not sick or anything, just needed a day off. Today's creation is a card made using yesterday’s sketch challenge (SC#177) from Splitcoaststampers. Although the layout was a given, it took me some time to decide what stamp set and cardstock I would use. Well after an hour and a half, I am quite pleased with the final result.

The main image was stamped and embossed with clear EP. I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the image. Now I am off to work on some other non-stamping related projects. Have a great day!
Stamps: Live Your Dream, Floral background
CS: Groovy Guava, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Afternoon Tea DSP
InkS: Groovy Guava, Wild Wasabi, Chocolate Chip, Soft Sky
Accessories: Clear EP, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Designer Label punch & Small Oval punch

Sunny Sunflower

I can officially share my mystery image card with you that I created for my partner. These challenges are fun because they allow me to come out of the box. Each participant received the same image and did something totally different with theirs. I was sure they would all look very similar. This is the beauty of these challenges. The image is from Impression Obsession. TFL.

I Participated in a Father's Day swap with Nicole and Tai. My card doesn't actually speak father's day but I think it could pass. Since I did not have the Father's Day stamp from All Holidays, I had to improvise. I copied this layout from page 76 of the SU Spring-Summer '08 Collection. The stamp sets used were Wanted and Sweet Celebrations from SU and the alphabet set is from My Sentiments Exactly. Hope you like it.

King for a Day

This card was made in preparation for Father's Day. I am still trying to hone in on my masculine card making skills. Don't know whether I like it or not. Let me know what you think. I will keep trying until I make one that screams "this is it"!
The image is from Autumn Leaves Clear Stamps Father's Day and was embossed with Clear EP and watercolored using the Wild Wasabi ink pad. TFL.

Whoo Hoo!

I am impressed with me! I actally sewed on a card!!

This card was born out of sheer boredom! Have you ever wanted to create something and had nothing in mind? Well that was me. I finally mounted this stamp set and decided I would make a card using one of the images from the set. But what?? Well here is the result of my sheer boredom. Hope you like it!

Stamps: Just Celebrate; CS: Wild Wasabi, East Coast Prep, More Mustard, Whisper White; Inks: Basic Black; Accessories: Jumbo Eyelets, Linen Thread, Wild Wasabi double stitched ribbon, Water Color Crayons

A Card for You

Happy Mother's Day to you!

This card was actually made for a swap I participated in and I did not make one for myself. I really like the soft colors and it just speak Mother. Hope you like it too. TFL.
